Empowering Women Through Skills, Opportunity, And Self-belief
n line with one of Nykaa's key CSR priorities — skilling for empowerment, we have partnered with Sambhav Foundation to help young women from low-income communities, transition into the mainstream workforce as skilled beauty professionals. These women possess the ambition and drive to become independent and contributing members of society but often lack access to the right opportunities.
Through this partnership, Nykaa is helping bridge that gap. Operating out of five centres in Bengaluru, Guwahati, Delhi, Navi Mumbai, and Kolkata, each centre is fully equipped with beauty stations to provide hands-on, practical training. Participants undergo months-long courses , complemented by On Job Training (OJT).
Vocational Training For A Future Of Possibility
In partnership with Delhi Council for Child Welfare (DCCW), Nykaa is supporting 10 dedicated vocational training centres aimed at empowering girls and young women from underserved backgrounds. Through this initiative, participants are gaining practical, industry-aligned skills in Beauty & Wellness and Stitching—skills that open the door to meaningful careers and personal transformation.
Each centre offers a year-long program, delivered through daily two-hour sessions thoughtfully designed to enhance employability, build confidence, and nurture self-reliance. These are not just training sessions—they are stepping stones to a more secure, independent, and empowered future.
Turning Talent Into Enterprise
n partnership with the Aatapi Seva Foundation, Nykaa is empowering rural women to become successful beauty care entrepreneurs by blending skill development with comprehensive training in financial literacy and business management.
This thoughtfully crafted program begins with foundational training in beauty services, equipping women with essential technical skills and customer care expertise. As participants advance, they engage in deeper entrepreneurship modules covering critical areas such as business planning, financial management, and marketing strategies.
Towards Inclusive Growth
As part of Nykaa’s commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility and fostering inclusive communities, we have partnered with the Latika Roy Memorial Foundation to establish a state-of-the-art salon designed specifically for children with sensory needs. Situated within the Foundation’s universally accessible campus in Dehradun, this initiative exemplifies our dedication to Diversity & Inclusion.
This salon goes beyond providing essential beauty services—it functions as a specialized training centre for differently-abled youth enrolled in the Foundation’s skill development programs. By creating a supportive, accessible environment, the project empowers these young individuals with practical, marketable skills that open doors to meaningful employment and self-reliance.
